Anna Achapovskaya, who illustrated Do You Know Where Your Food Grows?, is originally from Minsk, Belarus. She now resides in Wroclaw, Poland. She studied at an art school in Minsk, where she honed her skills in traditional media, including watercolors, gouache, and colored pencils. Although Anna has a higher education in the technical field and worked as a software engineer for about five years, her passion for drawing ultimately led her to become an illustrator. Anna loves to illustrate children's books and has a knack for bringing stories to life through her art. Her illustrations are playful, imaginative, and capture the hearts and minds of young readers. When Anna is not illustrating, you can find her curled up with a good book and her two cats. Her passion for reading and storytelling is reflected in her work, as she brings characters and stories to life through her illustrations.
